WerkHuus1 – Update in April 🏢

The final spurt is noticeably approaching: The planned move-in date for our new office building is approaching – on May 11, the time has come.

The furnishing is well advanced. The complete seating has been delivered and is available in offices and meeting rooms. The carpeting has already been laid in the meeting rooms, and the furniture is currently still being set up there. The desks are also in the final stages of preparation.

On the 1st floor, all the glass walls in the offices have now been installed. At the same time, the bathrooms were completely sealed and the technical room was completed.

An important milestone has also been reached: The elevator is in operation, approved by the TÜV and will be protected accordingly during the move-in phase.

The staircase is currently being completed and prepared for the next steps. In addition, the LED strips under the stairs have already been partially installed.

On the ground floor, the final assembly of furniture and glass walls is currently taking place. From next week, the basic cleaning of the building will also begin.
A special highlight in April: Our approximately 8-metre-high green wall in the entrance area was installed within just three days – a real eye-catcher with living plants. Many thanks to the company Heimatliebe Greenhats GmbH & Co. KG for the successful implementation.

Progress is also being made in the outdoor area with the help of the company GALA-BAU Vennemann: the paving work is underway, beds are being created and bicycle racks are being installed.

The exterior technology has also already been technically completed, and the associated enclosure is currently in production. The expert acceptance tests were already successfully carried out last week.

We are looking forward to the final steps and to officially moving into WerkHuus1 soon. The next update will follow in May! ☀️
