Update: CIC in Osnabrück has received several awards 🏆🏆🏆🏆

… and the Terhalle Group is happy too! 😀

Last week, the Coppenrath Innovation Centre (CIC) won the GOLD polis award 2025 for “Reactivated Centers”. “The completed office modules (wood) as well as the multifunctional areas are deliberately placed in front of the existing building (concrete supporting structure) and create a strong image: a new innovative working environment with charisma,” said the jury.

The State Prize for Architecture Lower Saxony 2024 joins this award with the inserted cubes made of visible cross-laminated timber. The versatile and creative use of wood as a building material was praised here.

The jury of the Lower Saxony Timber Construction Award 2024 recognized the sustainability concept of the project using the renewable natural raw material 🌲 . Here we were rewarded with recognition.

The project also received recognition at the Balthasar Neumann Award ceremony, one of the most important and prestigious architecture prizes in Europe, at BAU in Munich. Special features of the integral 🤝 planning and exemplary architectural and technical qualities, taking sustainability aspects into account, characterize this competition.

In November 2024, the Heinze ArchitekturAWARD 2024 awarded the building project the title of Best Project “Work + Production + Infrastructure” at the Climate Festival 🌿 for the building revolution in Berlin.

And last but not least, the Coppenrath Innovation Center was also a finalist at the international 🌍 archello awards 2024 in the category: Adaptive Reuse of the Year.
