Roof renovation at the double gymnasium in Billerbeck started! 🏠

Since 1988, nothing has been done to the roof of the double gymnasium – now it’s high time! The 1,800 m² roof area is currently being renovated. The reason for this: dilapidated roof tiles, leaks, damage to the construction and almost no insulation.

On the main roof, the installation of 12.5 cm thick ecological above-rafter insulation from Bauder is currently underway – above this is a weight-reducing trapezoidal sheet, ideal for the later photovoltaic system. ☀️

In the extensions (foyer, changing rooms, storage rooms) a 200 mm thick mineral wool insulation was installed – including a new roofing membrane and classic pan roofing. 🏗️

Precisely fitting sheet metal from our own plumbing department ensures a clean finish at the roof edges and eaves – without any delivery delays and precisely tailored to each project.

📍 Current status: The above-rafter insulation on the main roof is in progress – the lower roofs will follow next. At the same time, the roof covering will be completed there.
