Multifunctional seating for Krefeld’s “House of Education” 👨‍🏫

Our interior fit-out team is delighted to be working on the very modern and pedagogically oriented architecture of this special educational project.

A new daycare center 👫 will be combined with an elementary school 🎒 and a family center under one roof in order to improve transitions for everyone, offer children free space, involve parents and thus fulfill an important urban district task.

After we have sent our implementation plans for approval in coordination with our structural engineer, we are currently working on the adjustments.

For the substructure of the three almost square seating areas, we use a laminated veneer lumber panel, and all other furniture parts are finished with an HPL coating in maple. The circular cut-outs in the 2.30 m x 2.30 m floor area can be fitted with a two-part seat cushion or used as a ball pool for smaller children. We also produce over 20 other seat cushions in various geometric 🔺 🟣 🟩 shapes.

For the two 5 m long wall claddings in the form of a seating grandstand with built-in shelves, we also supply the photo walls that we have already installed in many projects with different motifs in corridors, common areas and private buildings.

Our installation work will start in the middle of the year 💪 , which we will report on again.
