Efficient construction with wood in urban areas – we were there! 🌿

At the 18th European Timber Construction Forum in Cologne last week, everything revolved around sustainable building culture, climate neutrality and innovation in modern timber construction. Two days full of exciting impulses, inspiring projects and valuable exchange with experts from architecture, engineering and the construction industry.

A highlight for us:
Our Managing Director Jürgen Ellerkamp (Terhalle Holzbau GmbH) presented the project “Grundschule Lohmar Birk | Chance | Rethinking School” – an example of how sustainable educational buildings with wood can set new standards in quality, functionality and climate protection.

We were on site with eight participants to expand our expertise and experience the latest developments in modern timber construction at first hand. We take many new ideas with us – and even more motivation to continue to actively shape the future of building in wood! 🌲💡
