Award for our project of the community primary school in Lohmar 🏫

Last week, outstanding projects were awarded as part of the event “Energy-efficient non-residential buildings in NRW” – and we are very pleased that our project at the Birk Community Primary School in Lohmar is also among the award winners.

With the state programme, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and NRW. Energy4Climate offers innovative buildings that impress with low CO₂ emissions, high energy efficiency and forward-looking supply concepts.

In the new building of the Birk Community Primary School, the heat is mainly provided by geothermal probes in combination with highly efficient heat pumps. A photovoltaic system also supports sustainable power generation. The timber frame construction with wooden façade combines ecological responsibility with high architectural quality.
