🎉 We are very pleased about the special prize for social responsibility at B! WRD! 🎉

With our inclusive housing project RODA in Aachen, we were awarded the B! WRD – Award of SMEs in the real estate industry in the category Social Responsibility. The B! WRD honors real SME performance: creativity, innovative strength and team spirit. We are all the more pleased that a project was awarded that shows how sustainability, innovation and inclusion can go hand in hand.

As general contractor, we were able to realize the RODA residential project in Burggrafenstraße in Aachen – a place where these values come together as a matter of course. The two group apartments for people with autism spectrum disorder offer a protected space, while the additional subsidized apartments enable diverse and social interaction.

The modern residential building in timber construction impresses with its energy-efficient, highly thermally insulated shell and prefabricated room cells with integrated technical centres, which offer residents a high level of comfort and smart solutions. RODA shows how inclusive living can be lived – as a home that connects people and creates perspectives.

Our thanks go to all project partners and all those who made this special housing project possible. This award is a merit of the entire team and a strong sign of more social responsibility in housing construction. Frank Lauhoff accepted the award on behalf of our team at a ceremony in Berlin.
