Architects’ Seminar 2025 – Holistic Construction of the Future 🌿🏗️

On November 4, this year’s architectural seminar took place on the construction site of our new four-storey office building “WerkHuus1” – an inspiring place where theory and practice meet. Around 140 architects and civil engineers immersed themselves in the world of holistic construction of the future.

The focus was on timber construction as the key to sustainable architecture. The six forums highlighted topics such as:
🌲 Future of wood supply and ecological significance in climate change🏗️
Technical developments in prefabrication and modular construction System🔩
flooring in timber construction as an example of innovation and sustainability🏢
Design of modern, energy-efficient working environments Window🪟
construction, barrier-free living and the digital product passport
📐 Current regulations in lightweight metal construction & efficiency potentials in modular timber construction
⚙️ Commercial and industrial construction, wood & metal

In a circle training format, the six groups alternated between the forums every 45 minutes – this resulted in an intensive exchange and a holistic view of the future of construction.

A special highlight: the presentation of our four-storey timber hybrid office building “WerkHuus1”, which makes integrative planning processes and sustainable construction methods tangible.

Wissing Feinkost took care of the physical well-being during the joint lunch break – perfect refreshment for a day full of knowledge, networking and inspiration.
