Leo Wesseler’s first year of training is almost over. As a carpenter apprentice in his first year at Terhalle Tischlerei GmbH, he gives an insight into how it went. 😊

He is not only enthusiastic about working with wood, but also about drawing, which makes up a large part of the lessons at the school. A new PC has been specially installed in the Terhalle Group’s training workshop so that the trainees can practise technical drawing and also plan journeyman’s pieces. 🪚

“Drawing is important to get an understanding of how a plan works. We draw cross-sections of window frames, for example. This gives you a good spatial understanding,” explains Leo Wesseler.
