Sometimes finding the right employer is a process. Daniel Kemmer, now a team leader in work preparation at the Terhalle Group, knew early on where he wanted to go: Even while he was still at school, he knew that training as a carpenter was just the right thing for him. Terhalle was also on his radar back then. But the start didn’t go quite as planned: At just 15 years old and having to cycle to his apprenticeship every day – “in all weathers”, as Daniel describes it – his entry into working life didn’t seem ideal at first.

He initially began his career at another company that was closer to his home. It was only after his master craftsman’s examination that he took the plunge and finally switched to Terhalle. The change was a real change of perspective for him, as he says – a way of thinking outside the box.

What has changed since then?
👉 Larger and more challenging projects:
At Terhalle, Daniel is no longer just involved in the construction of detached houses. Today, he works on projects with a much larger scope and higher standards.

👉 Strong synergy effects:
Close cooperation between different trades such as metal and window construction under one roof shortens decision-making paths and increases the quality of processes.

Good things sometimes take time. Especially with complex projects – as can be seen in the video from production – smooth coordination between departments is essential. For example, between CAD planning and work preparation.

Conclusion: The work at Terhalle is varied, challenging and never boring.
