30 years with Terhalle and 30 years of turnkey construction:
Jürgen Ellerkamp, Managing Director of the property construction division at the family-run company in Münsterland, can look back on a successful career at Josef Terhalle’s side. The beginnings go back even further: “As a student,” he remembers, “I was able to earn my living here, at Terhalle – and then, after graduating, I initially worked in turnkey construction for a few other companies.”
In 1995, he got the opportunity he had been longing for: “I was able to start directly as Managing Director in contract construction and was able to drive turnkey construction forward together with Josef Terhalle. Right up to entire schools, which we handle today.” 🤝🤩

But: Terhalle, says Jürgen, “is always working in a team”. In his area of turnkey construction, in commercial construction, this has “grown to more than 40 people – in parallel with the orders that I have expanded”. 🙌
The Managing Director of Contract Construction has identified prefabrication in timber construction as an important pillar of growth in the company group: “Nowadays, we have already prefabricated exterior walls with windows, exterior façades and interior cladding,” says Ellerkamp, describing the procedure under the hall roof.
It is very important to him to pass on the trust that he himself has experienced to his “team”. He is always open to any kind of personal discussion: “If there are problems, anyone can come to me – and we’ll solve the problems together.” 🤗

Terhalle has developed on the basis of these values. From a carpentry business to a medium-sized group of companies whose core business includes turnkey construction and property construction. Jürgen Ellerkamp has made a decisive contribution to this.
