🏗️ Topping-out ceremony for the Steinkühlerweg daycare center in Dortmund 🌱

The closed building shell is in place – now the raw installation is in full swing! Our new building project in modern timber frame construction with timber façade is taking shape.

What is being created here?

A two-storey building for 8 groups with space for around 160 children, equipped with escape balconies and external staircases for maximum safety. Well thought-out down to the last detail – including wood-aluminum windows with special bird protection glass.

– Passive house standard & climate-neutral concept
– Reduced heat requirement thanks to highly efficient ventilation system with heating and cooling function – completely without underfloor heating
– Energy generation through photovoltaics
– No fossil fuels, instead consistent CO₂ balancing
– Green façades and an extensively greened retention roof for rainwater retention and a better microclimate
– Cross-laminated timber ceilings as part of the sustainable construction method
