Now that we have completed the basement ceiling and the elevator shaft, the reinforced concrete work on the stairwell core is in full swing. In a week’s time, the insulated outer basement walls will be filled in step by step and the basement flooded to a height of approx. 90 cm \ud83c\udf0a until the four-storey shell provides sufficient load-bearing capacity for the rest of the construction process. <\/p>\n
At the same time, our Ottenstein window construction team began production of the 84 identical or partially mirrored \ud83c\udf32 spruce\/fir wooden windows with aluminum cover shells in April. The casement windows have a sash frame that is concealed from the outside, which gives the floor-to-ceiling windows in the fa\u00e7ade a very calm appearance. Inside, the integral windows are finished in an opal white color and pre-assembled flush with the OSB panel in the factory. In contrast, the surfaces of the aluminum cover shells come in a black-brown fine structure. <\/p>\n
The window construction team at our site in Alst\u00e4tte is using aluminum for the mullion and transom construction of the central wing and the window systems of the roof terrace \u2600\ufe0f, including the 4-part sliding door. We opted for solar control glazing for these elements, as no external shading is installed here. All timber\/aluminium windows are fitted with electrically controlled textile screens in a charcoal\/bronze color. <\/p>\n
